About Us

DC By Foot is a group of young (and young at heart), fun loving guides who have come together for a common cause: To teach history and entertain guests with creative tours of DC.

Meet the crew:

Steve: A Jersey boy at heart, Steve is an adopted DC resident who has over five years of tour guiding experience.   He has lived in London and completed a graduate program in International Relations in Germany.  A former congressional staffer, Steve knows the ins and outs of political DC.

Eddie: Originally from Oregon, Eddie is known for his charming looks, entertaining wit and tours you are sure to enjoy. He is a futbol fan so ask him how his team Manchester United is playing.

Steve Petrock: Steve, heir to the fortune of the 70's fad, the petrock.  He is a college student studying mechanical engineering at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. Because of his background in math and science, Steve naturally developed a great interest in politics and history. When not giving tours with DC By Foot, he spends his time blowing things up at the Naval Research Laboratory.

Tim: Tim has lived in the Washington Metropolitan Area his entire life and recently retired as a high school counselor. He has coached both summer leauge swimming and high school wrestling. Tim feels that leading tours in DC is the most ideal teaching job of all: fun with the class and no papers to grade!...but there just might be a quiz!

Dr. Andrew Zodiac: Dr. Zodiac is a strange man, which makes him the perfect guide of the Ghost Tour of Georgetown. Dr. Zodiac, paranormal studies expert and Georgetown's resident werewolf, is close, personal friends with all of the neighborhood's elite dead and accursed -- which makes his tour fun for the whole family.

Rebecca: Rebecca is originally a New England gal, moved to DC, moved away to California and found that she couldn't stay away from DC. She came back to get a masters degree in history, which makes her perfect to lead tours. When not hanging around the National Mall (or studying) she can be found cultivating her own private tour of DC's wine bars.
