The Mall transforms at night. The crowds thin, the monuments glow, and the stories hit differently when the sun goes down. We don’t just show you the sites. We tell you the stories.

Every stop on this tour has a story most visitors never hear and at night, those stories land with a weight that the daytime crowds rarely allow.

WWII Memorial

Honor the 16 million Americans who served and the 400,000 who died. Find Kilroy hidden amongst the columns honoring every state and territory, and hear the stories behind the design that almost wasn’t built.

MLK Memorial and Reflecting Pool

Visit the memorial to the man who stood steps from here and changed the course of American history. Walk the length of the Reflecting Pool as the lights of the Mall reflect across the water.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Nineteen stainless steel statues frozen mid-patrol haunting in daylight, unforgettable at night. Learn about the conflict often called “The Forgotten War” and why it deserves to be remembered.

Lincoln Memorial

See the famous statue, hear the stories of America’s 16th president, and stand on the exact spot where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963. One of the most powerful places in the country and one of the most dramatic at dusk.

Lincoln Memorial Undercroft and Museum + Tickets Included

The tour ends here, and then it keeps going. The newly opened Lincoln Memorial Undercroft and Museum sits directly beneath the Memorial itself; a space that was closed to the public for over a century. Your guide will hand you timed entry tickets for a self-guided visit inside. Plan to spend an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour exploring on your own after the tour concludes.
